Livaja happy to leave Inter on loan deal

Marko Livaja - Inter

Marko Livaja has said that he would not rule out a loan move away from Inter if the opportunity arises.

The Italian giants have been on the search for a new forward and with the January transfer window fast approaching it could leave the Croatian surplus to requirements at the club.

Id like to stay at Inter, but I wouldnt be against a loan switch, said the youngster speaking at a charity football tournament in Split.

The 19-year-old joined the side in 2011 as a youth player but has only managed to make five senior team appearances.

Livaja spent the whole of last season away from the Nerazzurri on loan at Italian club Cesena, following a previous stint at Lugano in 2011, and he says he is hoping for another chance to leave his parent club on a temporary basis.

The most important thing for me is to play and score goals, where I do that is not of any significance, he added.

Although Livaja has failed to make an impact in Serie A, he has had an influence in Europe, scoring four goals in seven Europa League appearances for his clubs.
