Nottingham Forest extend Jenas loan deal by two months

Jermaine Jenas
Tottenham have confirmed that Jermaine Jenas has extended his loan deal with Nottingham Forest, and will remain at the City Ground for a further two months.

The midfielder initially returned to his former club on a one-month loan in September, in an effort to get his career back on track following a six-month spell on the sidelines with a ruptured Achilles.

The former England international has been used mainly as a substitute during his spell in the Championship, but has seemingly impressed Forest boss Sean O'Driscoll.

The 29-year-old scored an audacious chip in the 4-1 victory over Barnsley last Saturday, and can now look forward to an extended stay in his home town.

He will now be available for selection for the match against Millwall at the weekend, when seventh-placed Forest will look to extend their five-match unbeaten run and break into the play-off places.
