Kaka wants to stay in Europe, says father

Kaka
Kaka's father and agent has refuted reports that the Real Madrid star could be set for a January move outside of Europe.

The Brazilian continues to be on the outer at Santiago Bernabeu, and, in the past week, Spanish daily Marca reported that Madrid are keen to offload him in order to free up money needed to fund a contractual renewal for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Kaka was rumoured with a return to AC Milan in the past summer, however, it is Brazilian side Corinthians that are said to now be interested in his services along with New York Red Bulls.

However, Bosco Leite says there are no negotiations under way and that his son's preference is to continue playing in Europe.

"I don't know about that," Leite told Lancenet in response to the rumours.

"For now, as it stands now, he wants to stay in Europe. That migh t change but today, I don't know. Corinthians were never mentioned. And Corinthians themselves never said anything either."

Kaka has made just five appearances for Real Madrid in the Primera Division so far this season and has started only one match.
